On September 23, 2003, Rhymesayers/Epitaph released Seven's Travels. The fourth Atmosphere studio album by the duo of Slug and Ant would prove to be a jumping off point in their career. 19 tracks deep, the album reflects upon touring life, women, personal struggles and triumphs, Minneapolis, and more.

With the 7 year anniversary of the album release upon us and Slug's affinity for the number seven, it marked a perfect time to reflect back on this key stepping stone in their ever-growing travels...You can pick up the Seven's Travels CD at Fifth Element, and also at Amazon, iTunes, major music retailers, and your favorite local indie record store.

Slug took some time from the To All My Friends Tour to give some quick thoughts on the Seven's Travels album:

1) What is the best song from the album to perform live?
Slug: trying to find a balance, and always coming back home to you.
2) How did the collab with Brother Ali come about with the song "Cats, Vans, Bags"?
Slug: just hanging out, crackin jokes and rapping. next thing you know - distortion!
3) What is the biggest difference between God Loves Ugly and Seven's Travels?
Slug: god loves ugly had no silly moments, just shadows. whereas most of seven's travels could be defined as silly moments.
4) Does the title have a "deeper" meaning or was it simply about the your travels through touring/life?
Slug: it was a nod to Gulliver's Travels.
5) Biggest lesson learned from the making of this album?:
Slug: if you say it into that mic, someone may hear it, and eventually judge you for it.
6) What was the inspiration for writing "Always Coming Back Home To You"?:
Slug: the predictability of everything around us.
7) What is your favorite tour story from the Seven's Travel's Tour?:
Slug: i do not remember much of that tour, i'm afraid i used to drink a lot back then. sorry.

Fair enough. Since it's likely that many people's memories have faded from alcohol, other mind altering substances, or perhaps even age, use this photo gallery and the music videos for "Trying To Find A Balance" and "National Disgrace" to travel to that moment in time:
