We have forged a global distribution partnership with Backwoodz Studioz.
This collaboration is centered on a shared artist-first ethos that prioritizes the interests, creative freedom, and well-being of artists above all else. “Since I started Backwoodz Studioz more than twenty years ago, the goal has been to be forward thinking in terms of both the art that we curate, and our business endeavors. I still believe that whatever benefits our artists, will ultimately benefit the label as well. To that end, we have done our best not to stand pat, always looking for partnerships that can help us do more for our artists. For much of the last ten years, our physical distribution network has been an a la carte affair, working with a variety of different entities on a case-by-case basis. It has been an effective approach for Backwoodz; as the label is putting out more product than ever before, while maintaining quality control and breaking new acts that wouldn't have found a home anywhere else. But with that growth has come new opportunities, and when the potential to work with Rhymesayers Entertainment came up, it really checked all the boxes we were looking for.
