The Inner-city Muslim Action Network (IMAN) is one of my favorite organizations in the world. Along with uniting Muslims in the Chicago area to serve the community by promoting social justice and equal access to resources, they organize cultural evens for artists to meet and interact with the community in a organic and meaningful settings.

The video that we shot for â??Good Lordâ? was at an IMAN event at the old Audubon Ballroom in Harlem, NY.

IMANâ??s biggest event is Takinâ?? It To The Streets in Chicago. In past years, Iâ??ve performed there with Lupe Fiasco, Jurassic 5 and Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest.

This years STREETS festival is in June 19th in Chicago and performers include Mos Def, Rock Steady Crew, One Be Lo and myself. Itâ??s FREE and open to the public and I want to SEE YOU THERE!

A few weeks ago I put out a call on Facebook and Twitter for producers to send me beats for Streetsâ?? Mixtape and received over 900 beats in the first 24 hours. I ended up choosing this track from Medium Zach and did the song the next day. Peep game.
