The track and video is a seamless reflection of Evidence’s  introspective style, steeped in the dim undercurrents of his beloved Los Angeles."Dutch Angle" is not only the title but also a metaphor for the perspective his music videos often convey. Named after a cinematography technique that involves tilting the camera to create a sense of disorientation and tension, the song’s music video uses this visual style to amplify Evidence’s raw, moody aesthetic, emphasizing lyrics that connect to the album’s ethos such as “Reset button pusher, starting over is the funnest part, winter’s bright to me and summer’s dark”.
