A little over 48 hours stands between now and Evidence's return to Minneapolis to play a show with IPR's "Hip Hop Essentials Class".

In 2005 the Institute of Production and Research (IPR) in Minneapolis started a class in conjunction with Rhymesayers Entertainment - the staff and artists teach students the ins and outs of the music industry, how to DJ, record live vocals, arrange music, and more! Every semester the students take all their knowledge and apply it to creating music together, booking a local show with local openers and headliners, and promoting the event. Follow @EssentialsIPR on twitter to see what the students are up to!

Wednesday's show will be at The Triple Rock and will also feature Fear Itself, Who The Hell Are They? (student group), and Julian Fairbanks of local crew Audio Perm on the 1s and 2s.

This is an 18+ event and costs $5 (IPR Students/Staff Free w/ ID).
