Just announced, Freeway and Brother Ali will be representing Rhymesayers at the upcoming Twin Cities Day of Dignity - A Celebration of Neighbors Helping Neighbors, presented by Al-Maa'uun Community Outreach and Islamic Relief USA.

This is an all-day event in North Minneapolis aimed at easing the strain of poverty. People and families in need will receive health care services, haircuts, meals, winter clothing, school supplies and health/hygiene kits. Everything will be free and open to the public.

There will also be live performances by Roc-A-Fella/Rhymesayers Recording Artist, Freeway and Rhymesayers' own, Brother Ali.

Day of Dignity is Hosted by and located at Masjid An-Nur. The North Minneapolis mosque has a long history of community service and serves as the spiritual base for Minnesotans such as Congresman Keith Elison, Basketball Player Khalid El-Amin and Hip Hop Artist Brother Ali.

Day of Dignity is FREE and open to the public.
