In the midst of all the controversy surrounding your boy Beanie, what's good with your project?

I got The Stimulus Package coming out on Rhymesayers Entertainment on February 16, that's going to be real big. We just dropped the first leak off of that, it's called "You Know What I Mean." The video was shot by Rik Cordero.

Roc-A-Fella and G-Unit were suppose to merge to produce your last album. What happened there?

It just fell apart at the last minute. Certain things were supposed to happen that didn't happen, so we just put it out "produced by the Carter administration."

What's in the cards for State Property?

Before Beans went in the last time, we had a lot of records recorded. We did like 40 or 50 songs. We got material and we're going to make new material, too. We're just looking for the right situation for it with all the original members [of State Property]. Peedi Crack is in jail, but he should be home soon, so it should be everybody.

Like Beans, you've always been a loyal soldier to the Roc, Even when you rode with G-Unit. With all the heat flying between 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel, where do you stand?

As far as when I do shows, the fans love that Roc-A-Fella shit, so that's a chapter in my life that's always going to be around. But as far as situations, I'm moving on. I'm trying to do the best I can for my career and there is no Roc-A-Fella right now. Ain't nobody stepping up to try to patch things up, or put things back together or none of that. So I got to do what I got to do. I'm grinding. I got some nice situations n the table; I'm looking at a situation with Cash Money, so hopefully that will work out for us.

For the record, you and Beans?

Bean is my brother, so eve if we never did music again, we're still going to be cool. We're Muslim, that's my brother-we got a deeper tie than just friendship and music. We just did a show in Baltimore and then I went to Detroit for the weekend. We split apart and do different things, but when we come together it's crazy. We're good, ain't nothing change between us.
