Info on The Official Soundset 2016 Parties!

Itâ??s parties, on parties, on parties the weekend of Soundset 2016. Each year we build out a roster of artists that will begin and end your weekend on the highest of notes. We are excited to finally announce this yearâ??s Official Soundset Before and After Party line ups.

On May 28th in the First Avenue Mainroom, the Soundset Official Before Party will be kicked off by Rhymesayers alum Grieves, with label mates deM atlaS, and DJ Abilities. Theyâ??ll be rocking the stage with Kevin Abstract and Minneapolis avant-gardeâ??s Sarah White, Nazeem & Spencer Joles with DJ Adatrak on the 1 & 2â??s. Hosted by Mr. Peter Parker.

On the night of May 29th when we are wrapping up Soundset 2016 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, weâ??re headed back downtown to the First Avenue Mainroom for the Official Soundset After Party hosted by Brother Ali! Questlove from The Roots will be headlining the night with Get Cryphy (Plain Ole Bill, Last Word, Jimmy2Times & DJ Fundo) with 45 sets from DJâ??s Supreme La Rock, Skeme Richardsand King Otto!

Like every year, you never know whoâ??s going to show up, so make sure you are there for the special guests that will jump on stage throughout the night!
