Pitchfork announces new Aesop Rock Tour Dates this fall!

Keeping with the momentum of the first leg of his North American tour, indie rap cornerstone, Aesop Rock has announced a second string of dates for his Skelethon Tour, starting August 30th in Santa Cruz. Dark Time Sunshine and Open Mike Eagle will be opening and Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz will perform alongside Aesop for nearly two extra weeks in continuing support of his most recent release Skelethon, out now on Rhymesayers Entertainment. Skelethon is Aesop's latest solo effort and his first self-produced album which has proved to be one of the most acclaimed hip-hop releases of the year. This tour follows his current tour on which Aesop delivers his audacious intensity and the occasional mid-set haircut.Tickets will be on sale this Friday, August 3rd.

In addition, fans can go on zerofriends.com to purchase limited addition, 16â?x20â? prints designed by Artist and friend Alex Pardee, along with his ZEROFRIENDS Art & Apparel brand. Proceeds will help recoup the loss of gear, laptops and hard drives stolen prior to what was scheduled to be the second show of the tour in San Francisco; later postponed to September 16th as a result of the crime. The limited edition print will be signed by both Aesop and Alex Pardee running for $50 a piece through August 6th or while supplies last.
