Rhymesayers is Participating in Extra Life 2015!

We are always looking for ways to give back to the community, as well as involve fans in what we are doing. With our recent Twitch partnership, we will be participating in Extra Life 2015 and are inviting our fanbase to join us in helping raise funds for the Childrenâ??s Miracle Network Hospitals.

â??WHAT IS EXTRA LIFE?â?

Extra Life is an online movement working to save local kids through online gaming by raising donations that go towards the Childrenâ??s Miracle Network Hospitals. You can read more about Extra Life here or watch the video below.



â??WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?â?

As an individual participant, we are working to help raise funds for our local Childrenâ??s Miracle Network Hospital, Gilette Childrenâ??s Specialty Healthcare in Minnesota.

You can help us reach our goal by making safe, easy donations online through our Extra Life profile at http://extra-life.org/participant/rhymesayers! Just visit the page and click the â??Support Meâ? button at the top. You will be given a variety of donation recommendations (as well as the option to choose your own amount) for one-time only or recurring monthly.

Your donations will be tax-deductible and 100% OF PROCEEDS go to help the kids!

Our individual goal is to raise at least $2,000. However, you may also want to visit the Rhymesayers Extra Life Team page to see our overall goal and progress as a group effort.

â??CAN I JOIN THE RHYMESAYERS EXTRA LIFE TEAM?â?

YES! We welcome you with open arms! Our Extra Life team is open to Rhymesayers staff and fans alike. Once you register for an account with Extra Life, all you have to do is visit the RSE Extra Life Team hub and click the â??Join Teamâ? button at the top. Help us reach our overall team donation goal!

Also, if you have a Twitch channel and join Team Rhymesayers here on Extra Life, we will add you to the Rhymesayers Stream Team on Twitch from now until Monday, November 9th. Just please make sure to include a link to your Twitch channel on your Extra Life bio so we can find you!

A variety of our team members will be participating, starting today! Be sure to also check what each individual has in store for Game Day on November 7, 2015.

â??HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SIGN UP FOR EXTRA LIFE?â?

â??IF A PARTICIPATE AND JOIN THE RHYMESAYERS TEAM, DO I HAVE TO SET MY DONATIONS TO GO TO THE SAME HOSPITAL THAT RHYMESAYERS CHOSE?â?

Nope! Each individual participant can choose their hospital (from the network) of choice. The money donated to that individualâ??s page will go towards their hospital of choice.

â??DO I HAVE TO PLAY WHEN THE STAFF PLAYS?â?

Nope! You can choose your own schedules. Although a lot of people do run 24-hour marathons, you do not have to do that. Should you decide to run a 24-hour marathon to try to raise money, please take safety precautions!

â??WILL YOU SUPPORT MY STREAM?â?

If you join the Rhymesayers team, yes! We will be promoting both of our team hubs on Extra Life and Twitch, pointing attention to the roster.

â??DO I HAVE TO PLAY RHYMESAYERS MUSIC DURING MY STREAMS?â?

Although encouraged and we always appreciate the support with our Twitch Music efforts, this is not a requirement.
