Risking Light

Risking Light is a documentary by local film maker Dawn Mikkelson that shares incredible stories focused on the power of forgiveness. There are absolutely no words to describe how touching this film is, but just one look at the trailer will undoubtedly impact your emotions and humanity in ways you may never forget! Rhymesayers own Kevin Beacham is the filmâ??s music supervisor, focusing on local MN talents to provide a gripping soundscape, courtesy of Chris Strouth, Bones & Beeker, Big Cats, and Cecil Otter (of Doomtree).

The project is currently in its final stages and looking to raise money to complete the feature film, as well as a series of mini-documentaries and a promotional campaign to inspire forgiveness around the world. The film is a little over halfway to its funding goal with less than two weeks to our deadline.
