Originally released in 2008, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold was lusher and more ruminative than earlier Atmosphere releases. The album swings from beautiful minimalist compositions to big, speaker-filling funk jams, with producer Ant bringing in some live instrumentation to flesh out the sound, enhancing his already-organic approach. While this instrumental version may be void of the brilliant tales of the original album, it still wields the power to paint vivid imagery all the same.
