Today, Brother Ali announced his “Shadows on the Sun 15-Year Anniversary Tour,” which kicks off on November 1st in Washington, D.C., and makes stops in New York, Minneapolis, Austin, Los Angeles, and more.

The tour celebrates the 15th anniversary of Brother Ali’s debut album on Rhymesayers, Shadows on the Sun, his first project with the beat-making half of Atmosphere, Ant. The resulting project is considered a classic not only by fans, but also by Rhymesayers CEO, Brent “Siddiq” Sayers, who says, “When he did Shadows on the Sun, he found [his voice]… And those songs are amazing songs… If somebody hears them today, they’ll impact them the same way they did when they first came out. It’s that good.”

Check out a full breakdown of Shadows on the Sun, written by Andres Tardio, including song-by-song reflections by Brother Ali himself, HERE.
