The new album from Evidence  Unlearning Vol. 2, is out now on all streaming platforms and in record stores everywhere.

The album boasts production from Evidence himself, as well as The Alchemist, Conductor Williams, Graymatter, C-Lance, QThree, Sebb Bash, Beat Butcha, and Coop The Truth. Unlearning Vol. 2 finds Evidence at his most soulful and self-assured—a smoky, introspective journey where grief, growth, and sharp lyricism collide in fearless reinvention.

Evidence has also shared a video for album highlight “Stay Alive (feat. Blu),” a track that bridges three different generations of hip-hop’s underground, hearing Evidence and Blu trade verses over a beat from Conductor Williams. Through it all, Evidence’s work is united, as always, by a commitment to hip-hop’s fundamental tenets: reinvention and recontextualization, the spinning of hardship into something inspiring, and creativity above all.
Since his emergence with Dilated Peoples, Evidence has always exuded a cool, effortless control. But Unlearning Vol. 2, like its 2021 predecessor, rejects any slide into legacy status. It’s not just a stylistic pivot—it’s a deeper, more introspective journey, one rooted in technical mastery but driven by instinct and curiosity. Instead of recycling past glories, Evidence explores rawer emotional terrain, crafting a sound that’s both grounded and experimental.

"This is my first Vol. 2 project I've made, I've had a like minded thread of albums with the “Weather” series, but this is an actual part 2. I wanted this album to feel aligned with Unlearning Vol.1 and to be open ended like the previous one. Leaving room for a Vol.3 of this series in the future.”
